Zorse is a game label operated by Austin Greco. In this policy, “Zorse,” “we,” and “us” refer to Austin Greco as the operator of the Zorse games and website.

This Privacy Policy applies to zorse.io, Bunny Hop for Android and iOS, and Tap Bat for Android (the “Games”). It explains what information is handled when you use the Games or this website, why it is used, when it is shared, and the choices available to you.

The short version

• The Games do not serve third-party ads. Zorse does not intentionally access advertising identifiers, sell personal information, or use personal information for cross-app tracking or targeted advertising.
• When a Game starts, it attempts to authenticate with Google Play Games Services on Android or Apple Game Center on iOS if the service and a suitable platform account are available. Platform identity and service analytics or diagnostics can therefore be processed automatically. Scores, achievements, achievement progress, and the Bunny Hop Android gameplay event described below are submitted during play.
• Zorse does not operate a separate player-account system and does not receive your Google or Apple password.
• The website and its content providers process ordinary web-request information as described below. Zorse does not use a website analytics service or advertising tracker.

Services used by each Game

If a future Game uses materially different services or data practices, this policy will be updated to identify them before that Game links to it.

Information handled by the Games

Data stored on your device

The Games store information such as settings, unlocked content, progress, and scores locally on your device so that the Games work and remember your progress. Zorse does not receive locally stored data unless you choose to include it in a support request. You can remove local game data using your device’s app-data controls or by uninstalling the Game, subject to any data restored by a platform gaming service or device backup.

Google Play Games Services on Android

When an Android Game starts, it attempts Play Games authentication if the service and a suitable Google account are available. The Games process the resulting authentication status on your device. During play, they submit scores and achievement records and process returned leaderboard and achievement records on your device. Bunny Hop also submits the number of bonus stars collected in each completed run as a cumulative Play Games event. Zorse determines which gameplay records the Games submit, but does not keep a separate server-side copy of your Play Games profile or those platform records.

Google states that Play Games Services automatically collects gamer identity (gamertag and avatar), service analytics, and diagnostics. Depending on the features used, Google also processes the player identifier, gameplay activity and events, scores, leaderboard entries, achievements, engagement information, and related device or account information. Some Play Games information may be visible to other players according to your Google settings and the feature being used.

Google operates Play Games Services and processes information under its own policies. Learn more in the Google Play Games Services data disclosure and Google Privacy Policy. You can manage your Play Games profile and privacy settings through Google and can delete Play Games data for an individual game or your Play Games profile. Deleting Google-held data does not automatically delete information you may have separately sent to Zorse, such as a support email.

Apple Game Center on iOS

When Bunny Hop starts on iOS, it attempts Game Center authentication if the service and a suitable Apple Account are available. Bunny Hop processes the resulting authentication status on your device, submits scores and achievements, and processes returned leaderboard and achievement records on your device. Zorse determines which gameplay records Bunny Hop submits, but does not keep a separate server-side copy of your Game Center profile or those platform records. Bunny Hop does not request access to your Game Center friends list.

Apple states that Game Center separately processes information including your player identifier, nickname and avatar, games played, play time and activity, scores, achievements, challenges, friends and co-players, interaction and device information, and information used for fraud prevention. Game Center may make your nickname, avatar, scores, and achievement information visible to other users according to your Apple settings.

Apple operates Game Center and processes information under its own policies. Learn more in Apple’s Game Center & Privacy notice and Privacy Policy. You can manage Game Center in your Apple device settings and use Apple’s Data and Privacy portal for available data requests.

Support communications

If you contact Zorse, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message, and any screenshots, device details, or game information you include. We use it to respond, troubleshoot, protect the Games, and keep an appropriate record of the request.

Optional sharing and external links

Bunny Hop can create a score image and link and open your device’s share sheet. Zorse does not receive the content or destination through this feature; your device platform and the app you choose handle the share under their own policies. The Games also contain links to external websites. Those websites process information under their own policies when you choose to visit them.

Information handled by the website

When you visit zorse.io, its hosting and delivery providers, including Amazon Web Services, may process standard request information such as your IP address, date and time, requested page, browser or device type, referring page, and security-related logs. Some pages load external content or assets from providers such as Google, YouTube, Apple, app stores, or cdnjs; those providers receive the information needed to deliver that content and may use cookies under their own policies. You can limit third-party content or cookies through your browser or content-blocking settings. Zorse does not run a website analytics service, use an advertising tracker, or intentionally set tracking cookies.

How information is used

Zorse uses information it controls only as reasonably necessary to:

• provide, maintain, and secure the Games and website;
• authenticate with the platform gaming service and provide leaderboards, achievements, and related features;
• respond to support requests and investigate technical problems;
• comply with law, enforce rights, and prevent fraud or misuse.

When information is shared

Information is shared only in these circumstances:

• with Google or Apple when you use their platform or gaming services;
• with providers that host, deliver, secure, or provide external content for the website, only for those services;
• when reasonably necessary to comply with law or a valid legal request, or to protect users, Zorse, or others; or
• as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, or transfer of the Games or website, subject to appropriate notice and protections.

Zorse does not sell personal information, share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, or allow third-party advertising in the Games.

When a service provider handles personal information on Zorse’s behalf, Zorse requires it to use the information only for the services requested and to provide privacy and security protections consistent with this policy and applicable law. Google and Apple also process platform information under their own terms and privacy policies linked above.

Zorse confirms that Google Play Games Services, Apple Game Center, and any other third party with whom a Game shares personal information are required to provide the same or equivalent protection of that information as described in this policy and required by applicable law.

Legal bases for processing

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, Zorse relies on performance of a contract to provide features you request, legitimate interests in operating and securing the Games and website and responding to users, consent where requested, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting earlier processing.

Retention and deletion

• Local game data remains on your device until the Game or its data is removed, unless it is restored from a device backup or platform gaming service.
• Google and Apple host and account-manage the platform gaming records described above and retain or delete them according to their policies and your account settings. Zorse determines which gameplay records the Games submit and processes service responses on your device. Use the controls linked above for Google Play Games or Game Center data.
• Zorse keeps support communications while a request is open and afterward only when needed to document the response, handle follow-up, maintain security, resolve a dispute, or comply with law. Zorse periodically reviews these records and deletes or anonymizes them when those purposes no longer apply.
• Website request and security logs are retained under the applicable hosting, delivery, and content providers’ settings and policies. Zorse retains any logs available to it only while needed to operate and secure the website or comply with law, then deletes or anonymizes them when those purposes no longer apply.

The Games do not create a separate Zorse account, so there is no Zorse player account to delete. To request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information controlled by Zorse, email the address in the Contact section. We may need enough information to understand and verify your request, and we may retain information when required or permitted by law.

Your privacy rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information; to receive a portable copy; or to withdraw consent. You may also have the right to complain to a local data-protection authority. Contact Zorse to exercise a right concerning information Zorse controls. For platform account information and hosted gaming records, use Google’s or Apple’s privacy controls or contact the provider directly.

Children’s privacy

The Games are offered to a general audience and may be used by younger players. Zorse does not ask users to enter their age or provide contact details through the Games, and the Games do not contain third-party advertising or cross-app tracking. However, when a Game connects to a suitable signed-in platform account, Google Play Games Services or Apple Game Center can automatically process the player identity, service analytics and diagnostics, and the gameplay records described above, including when the player is a child. Platform-account eligibility, privacy settings, and parental controls are managed by Google or Apple. A parent or guardian may contact Zorse about information Zorse controls and should use the provider controls linked above for platform information.

Security and international processing

Zorse uses reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the limited information it controls. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Google, Apple, and website providers may process information in countries other than your own, subject to their policies and applicable legal safeguards.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the Games, service providers, or legal requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above. If a change requires additional notice or consent, we will provide it as required.
