How Far Can You Fly This Halloween?

A tiny bat, a spooky cave, and a three-run Halloween dare.

A purple one-eyed bat flies through a moonlit cave, its gray wing spread, with a small glowing pumpkin on a rocky ledge.

One tiny bat. One very dark cave. How many points can you bring back before the stone wins?

Tap Bat makes good Halloween company: one purple bat, a shadowy cave, and spooky music to flap along to. Tap to fly upward. Stop tapping and you fall. The stone is less forgiving than it looks.

Your three-run Halloween dare

Give yourself three runs. Set your mark, then try to beat it.

  1. Set the mark. Take your first flight and jot down the score when the cave wins.
  2. Find one more point. On your second run, aim for one point beyond that first score. A small target. A surprisingly rude wall.
  3. Take the last flight. Try to beat the better of your first two scores. This is the one you’ll insist should have gone further.

A purple bat flies between stone columns in a dark pixel cave, with a score of 3 above it.

Three on the board. The next point is on the other side of that stone.

Beat your mark? Take the win. Missed it by one? That’s how a three-run dare becomes “just one more.”

Got company? Hand over the phone and let the next person take three tries at your score. The bat is small enough to share. The bragging rights probably aren’t.

Let the little bat out

Download Tap Bat free for Android on Google Play and give it a Halloween flight. Turn up the spooky music, keep clear of the stone, and see what score you bring back.

Happy Halloween. Here’s to one more point.
